How Cozy Cole Came to Be...

I started crocheting in January 2016, just after my husband, Kyle, and I got married. His cousin made us an amazing crochet blanket that combined the colours of our universities. It was our absolute favourite wedding gift and I knew I needed to learn to crochet, which I did by watching YouTube videos. Within a month of our wedding, I got pregnant, and found crocheting to be so perfect for all of those evenings spent lying on the couch, exhausted from pregnancy. Following the birth of our beautiful daughter, Lyla, I continued to crochet and got better and better. Friends, family, and coworkers kept encouraging me to sell my items, so in April 2017, I created Cozy Cole Creations!

Since starting my business, I have learned to knit, and have also been designing my own knit and crochet designs, which I also sell in my shop as digital downloads. In 2019 I added plaid flannel blanket scarves to my lineup as the perfect compliment to my hands and earwarmers.

One day I would love to be able to quit my day job and work Cozy Cole Creations full-time and maybe open up a physical store, however, for now I knit and crochet in every spare moment I have.
